2024 ACCT Seawalk
Come out and join the fun…
At the 2024 ACCT Seawalk 3k Fun Run/Walk and Community Health Fair as we walk, jog and run a 3k route on Galveston’s beaches and Seawall. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024 10a-2p, taking advantage of Galveston’s beautiful fall weather. We look forward to bringing fun to the entire family while raising awareness and funds to support ACCT’s mission!
The day kicks off with the 3k run/walk at 10:30 am beginning on the 21st Street beach at the former site of the Balinese Room, heading east on the beach to 10th Street, and returning to Beach Central on the Seawall. After completing the Seawalk, keep the fun going for an afternoon at Beach Central with live entertainment by Galvezton and Dem Roots Music from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm thanks to La Izquierda Surf and Music Festival. Grab a delicious bite from one of our food trucks or a refreshing adult (or non-adult) beverage from the GIFT and Third Coast Pride Fest Bar. In the vendor area you can get some shopping in and meet our local educational, health and non-profit partners and friends. To end the day, cheer on your adopted ducks and win fun prizes at everyone’s favorite Seawalk tradition, the Duck Race at 1:30 pm!

Restricted Handicap Parking is available adjacent to Beach Central on the west-bound side of Seawall Blvd between 21st and 22nd Streets.
A limited number of free parking spaces are available on 21st and 22nd Streets, please be aware of resident-only parking signs as these areas are patrolled and ticketed regularly.
Parking along the Seawall from 6th to 69th streets and 81st to 103rd streets can be purchased via Pay By Phone for $1 per hour, $8 per day or $25 per annual pass. Paid parking is enforced from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Register your vehicle by visiting www.paybyphone.com or 1-866-234-7275.
